Adult education and spiritual growth are key parts of our ministry at Church of the Good Shepherd, UCC. New classes and programs are always being developed—call the church office or our pastor if you have an idea for a program or are interested in scheduling a guest speaker.

Do you enjoy discussing controversial subjects like the nature of God, sin, immigration and living together before marriage? This is the class for you! Members facilitate this large, lively, and interactive class. The group also reads supplemental materials and books throughout the year to enrich their conversations—contact the church office to learn more.

Adult Sunday School – Parlor Group
This intimate group is facilitated by various members of our community around topics of interest to our members. As classes form, they are announced in the Midweek Message, and the Sunday Bulletin Board.
Sundays, in the Parlor, Adjacent to the Office
Book Club meets in private homes of our community. The Book Club combines good food, wine, excellent books, and fabulous conversation. The group selects the books, and a different member facilitates the discussion each month. Contact the office to learn about next month’s book, date and location.
Monthly, second or third Mondays, 6-8 p.m.
Pastor’s Bible Study
Our Pastor leads a conversation about the upcoming Sunday’s scripture. Come engage, explore, and learn!
Tuesdays at 11 a.m. This class meets in the Parlor at Church of the Good Shepherd.
