Open and Affirming
We are a progressive, diverse community of faith, friendship, and service. We seek to be inclusive of all persons without regard to age, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, marital status, economic status, or personal ability.
Our History
We are a dynamic congregation with a rich history and an exciting ministry in the community. 2020 marks our 61st year! Chartered in 1959, Church of the Good Shepherd was founded in the early days of the United Church of Christ.
Leadership
We are a member-led congregation. Our Church Council oversees the life and ministry of the church on behalf of the congregation. The Council is comprised of Officers, Ministry Team Leaders, and two Members at Large
Volunteer Opportunities
Humble service to others is a value we cherish. COGS is a compassionate partner striving for justice in our community; inspiring servant leaders who collaborate with those we serve.
Meeting Space
Space within the Church of the Good Shepherd is available to rent. In some cases at no charge. We have a variety of spaces, large and small for special events and meetings.
Ceremonies
We offer the Sacrament of Baptism for infants, children, and adults, Wedding ceremonies for couples and same-sex couples, and Celebration of Life Memorial Services.

CONNECT
Even though we are not able to meet in person at this time, we're available to help you with prayer or in some other tangible way. Our Care team, Membership Ministry and Hospitality Ministry leaders are available to meet with you and answer any questions you may have. Private online sessions with Pastor Sarah are also available by appointment
