SMALL GROUPS
Keeping our members and friends safe during COVID is our priority. Until further notice, our Small Groups meet virtually on the Zoom platform.
Our flexible, interest-based, small groups are designed to help participants establish an even deeper connection with God and one another. New groups form regularly.
Dinners for Eight
Our 8-10 person dinners are a great way to get to know new people. The host responsibilities rotate, and each group sets its own dates and times for dinner. Contact the church office (505) 856-1004, to sign up to join a group. Most Dinners for Eight groups are formed in the fall, however, new groups can be put together throughout the year.
Book Group
The Book Group meets the third Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30 p.m on Zoom . Participants enjoy good food, excellent books, and stimulating conversation. The group selects the books, and a different member facilitates the group discussion each month. Look in the Sunday Bulletin or Mid-week Message for the monthly book selection and host location. All are welcome!
Bible Study
Tuesdays at 11 a.m. Our Pastor leads a conversation about the upcoming Sunday’s scripture. Come engage, explore, and learn! Can't make it during the week? Sessions are available on Pastor Sarah's Podcast page.
Shepherd and Crooks
Men's Fellowship group meets monthly on the 1st Saturday of each month from 9:00 am on. Location: Flying Star Cafe, 4026 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107
Sacred Connection
The MISSION of Sacred Connection is to create a supportive environment of space and time in which people can experience the presence of God, connect with
others and explore the sacred within each of us. For more information on the activities of the Sacred Connection Group contact Mary Stuart, marystuart@sprynet.com
Youth Group
Much of our programming at Church of the Good Shepherd is inter-generational. Youth participate in all-church events. We host youth-specific retreats, service projects, and outings for our elementary, middle school, and high-school youth.
Inter-Generational Activities
During the year, there are many opportunities for families, older folks, and younger adults to do things together such as hiking, camping, church potlucks, outreach projects, and ice skating.
