COGS LOVES KIDS
COGS LOVES KIDS
Children are welcome at COGS, and we encourage parents to bring children of all ages to our worship services.
One of the highlights of our 11:00 AM service on Sundays is the Children's Message, a.k.a. "All Ages" message. Children join us to hear a special message from Pastor Sarah and participate in a unison prayer with the congregation.
Wonder & The Word -For Teens & Elementary Age
After the All Ages messages, teens and elementary age children are welcome to join a multi-age activities group.
In previous years our youth decided on topics and projects to explore for the year. Some of their ideas include making blessing bags for people in need, making cards for special people, designing, and painting a mural in the church, putting on a play or skit. To support Family Promise of Albuquerque, they built a cardboard box city for the Night Without a Bed event.
OPTIONS FOR KIDS
If your child is more comfortable attending church with you, we have created several options to help make you and your kiddo more comfortable.
Option #1: You are welcome to have your children sit with you in the sanctuary; we have a bag of activity goodies for each child available in the back.
Option #2: We have a table at the back of the sanctuary with coloring books and activities. This is a quiet area with seating for adults along the back wall. Please join your child there.
Option #3: After Children's Time, elemenary age kids may join us for Wonder & the Word activities.
COGS KIDS SAFETY
YOUR KIDS ARE SAFE
Volunteers at COGS are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service.
Our loving caregivers are here to care for your little ones during worship service. If you are new here, we'll introduce you and your child to the caregivers who care for children in the nursery.
At COGS, our policy is that any person under the age of 18 is supervised by more than one adult at a time.
