WELCOME

ALL ARE WELCOME HERE!

NOTICE:  Due to the continued threat of the COVID Omicron variant, we're back to virtual worship and group meetings on Zoom. Yes, we know, it's disappointing but our first responsibility is to keep our members and guests safe.

We'd love to get to know you and give you a personal glimpse into our wonderful community. Please click on the Ready to Plan a Visit button on this page and one of our Ministry leaders will contact you.

WORSHIP SERVICES

Weekly worship services in our beautiful sanctuary are on hold through the month of January in order to protect members and guests from the COVID Omicron variant.

Once it's safe to resume in-person services and groups, you'll be able to join us for a casual 9 AM service or our more traditional worship service at 10:30 AM. Our 10:30 service is available in-person, on Zoom, or via live stream on YouTube.

WE LOVE KIDS!

Children are welcome at COGS and we encourage parents to bring children of all ages to our worship services. Once our sanctuary is reopened, everyone entering the building including children over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask.

VIRTUAL SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday school for kids ages 5-12 meets on ZOOM at 9:45 AM every Sunday.  To protect the safety and security of the children attending, we require a "secret code" to enter Zoom Sunday school. You can obtain the code from Ms. Joanna by emailing her at joannafair@ucccogs.org.

CHILDREN ARE WELCOME TO WORSHIP WITH US

In-Person Worship with Children (once we resume in-person services.)

Children are welcome at COGS and we encourage parents and caregivers to bring children of all ages to our worship services. Our current COVID policy is that everyone entering the building is required to wear a mask, children included.

Special Provisions for Parents, Caregivers, and Children to attend our 10:30 AM in-person worship.

We sincerely hope that we have made it easier for you to worship with us with your child/children. Until such time as it is safe to reopen our Infants/Toddler's Nursery and resume in- person Sunday school, here are some options.

Option #1: You are welcome to have your children sit with you in the sanctuary, we have a bag of activity goodies for each child. Should you or your child need to move around, you can move into the Hospitality area (see Option #3) and still enjoy the service.

Option #2: We have a table at the back of the sanctuary with coloring books and activities. This is a quiet area where children can color with seating for adults along the back wall.

Option #3: We have created an activity area for children in our Hospitality Room. It is filled with puzzles, books, and other items just for kids. We request that children coming to the Hospitality Room be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There is plenty of seating with tables, and a large screen tv that broadcasts the Live Stream service from the Sanctuary. A licensed adult is available to supervise the children so that the adults can enjoy our worship service in comfort.
