Pastor Sarah joined our ministry team in January of 2013 as the Pastor for Justice and Community Life and transitioned to the role of solo Pastor and Teacher in 2016. Sarah graduated from the the Pacific School of religion in 2009 and received her Doctor of Ministry in 2024.

Before joining Church of the Good Shepherd, Sarah served churches in Rhode Island and California and also served as a Jesuit Volunteer in Micronesia. Pastor Sarah has also supoprted ministries overseas in Nicaragua, Mexico and Haiti through the Presbyterian Church USA and United Church of Christ. She also hosts a popular online ministry @disorganized.religion on TikTok and Instagram appears regularly as a guest on podcasts such as the Word in Black and Red. She also serves as a Board member at the Open Table Connection, a progressive campus ministry at the University of New Mexico.
